About the University

When i studied in Russia, i went to the Financial university under government of the russian federation. It is located in Moscow near the metro station aeroport.

             It is a 92's old university, which was founded by People's Commissariat of Finance of the RSFSR after the coup d'état of 1917. Its name has changed throughout the years. Some of them were Moscow Institute of Finance in 1931 and later Moscow Academy of Finance in 1991. It is called the Financial university under the government of the russian federation only since 2010.

             A good point for foreign students like me is that the school has its own dormitory.

So you can rent room which are room of 2 in a flat of 4. So basicly, 2 rooms as the one you can see with a bathroom, toilets and an entrance with a fridge.

Some people dislike to sleep in the same room with others, but beside this inconvenient it is really cheap, about 21€ per month.

Moreover, you don't need sheets because they give you some, and they also wash them. There are washing machine in the dorm so you don't have to go somewhere outside to wash your stuff.

There are kitchen on each floor, but there are no oven or microwaves in it.

Alcohol and cigarettes are forbidden, as you are in the university, but if you're discrete, you should be able to do whatever you want ;)

For the cleaning, housekeeper will clean the bathroom, toilets and the entrance, but you can ask for a vacuum to clean you room (which should not take more than 2 min)

A point which can be important for some people is that you have keys to lock your room, even if there was no problem when people left their room open.

Almost all the students live in the dorm because of its advantage and we're used to call us a familly.
